The concept of patterns has been a valuable tool to many fields, including software development. One of our goals is to establish a catalog of patterns for dialogue-driven development.
Early in our thinking about d3, we noted, in the broad, common sense of the word, recurring patterns in our interactions with our clients. Just like in other domains, our opinion is that a pattern language will help us to think about solutions to the problems we face.
We’ll be focuing a lot of energy on developing these ideas further. For now, Patterns of Dialogue presents some rudimentary thoughts on the subject.
